Is There a Doctor in the House?

Read it, over at MiM.

I DO feel that way, but for different reasons, of course =o).

Hello, by the way. I avoided the blog sphere for a few weeks.

I feel absurd that I am an Emergency Physician by training and yet at this point, being a SAHM for coming up on 7 yrs in June, the biggest emergencies I have dealt with in that time were 2 fractures, 2 dislocated elbows and a nice palm lac. When my own children get hurt they go running to DADDY, the school teacher. I dispense Tylenol and IB.... sometimes Benadryl. I'm not sure I would remember what to do if I were called upon in the event of an emergency or trauma! And yet I used to ROCK the ED back in my day. No one would ever believe it if they were to see me today!

DC - I believe it. You do rock! Glad that we pathologist, who weren't even trained in ED, aren't the only ones that feel incompetent every now and again.

I owe you an e-mail. I will oblige soon.
