Grand Rounds at Fizzy's Place
Fizzy, participant at Mothers In Medicine and author of A Cartoon Guide to Becoming A Doctor, is hosting her first Grand Rounds today! Aptly, the subject is humor in medicine. She references so many posts (including an old one of my own!) that I am too overwhelmed to click now but can't wait to put aside my book tonight and dive in.

I just found Dr. Grumpy this weekend, he has been cracking me up! Later tonight I'm definitely going to check out GR over a Fizzy's.
I am so on the fringes of medical blogdom - the pathology blogs I follow are not in grand rounds circles (we pathologists are too nerdy, I guess).

I found your blog through MIM. I'm not a MD, but a PhD who works in pharma. I identify with MIM a lot, however.
Dr. Grumpy is hilarious. I found him a couple of months ago and have read through all of his postings. Time well spent, I say. The crazy of which he speaks takes me back to my days in the lab...
Hey pink lady! I did some research after college, and decided not to go the Ph.D. route because it seemed tougher to me than M.D. At the time, I saw M.D. as the lazy route. I laugh in retrospect - they are both tough roads to travel, but rewarding, right?
I am now following Dr. Grumpy and Michelle Au. I can't wait to spend time catching up on his blog!
